How do credits work?
Credits are what you use to create and customise insoles on Ergono3D. Each design starts with 5 free updates so you can adjust all parameters freely. Credits are only used when you need more updates.
Generate a new custom insole design and unlock 5 free parameter updates. Adjust arch height, heel cup, posting, skives, and more.
After your initial 5 free updates, spend 1 credit to unlock 5 additional updates. Iterate as precisely as you need.
Print your first pair of custom insoles.
Three steps from Ergono3D to a finished, wearable insole.
Design & Download
Create your insole on Ergono3D — answer the guided survey, adjust parameters, preview in 3D. Export your STL file when you're happy.
Select Material
Use TPU filament — the flexible, durable material designed for functional orthotics. See the print settings table below for exact parameters by durometer.
Check & Print
Verify the insole length against your shoe size using the scale tool in the dashboard. Load the STL into your slicer and print. Add a top cover (EVA, Poron, or fabric) for comfort and grip.
TPU print settings by durometer.
Tried-and-tested slicer settings for each TPU hardness. Use these as your baseline — all three hardnesses print with a gyroid infill pattern on a standard FDM printer.

Gyroid infill gives the best balance of comfort, flex, and durability for orthotic insoles — without the stiffness of solid TPU or the fragility of low-density rectilinear infill.
No 3D printer? No problem.
You don't need to own a printer to get custom insoles. Design on Ergono3D, then send the STL to a professional printing service — they'll print and ship them straight to your door.
